Hello friends.

Today, as we find ourselves between Good Friday and Easter, I keep thinking about what this middle day is. The waiting. The gut wrenching ‘this can’t possibly be happening.’ The confusion and heartache and you watch your hopes and dreams get ripped from your hands and everything feels so unsure. The silence.

Very much like my life has felt lately.

And so I wait for Sunday. I try to remember that there is restoration. Beyond belief newness and wholeness.

But today is still silent. And so, while I and my son experience what happens when life falls short of heaven, I sit in the silence and wait for Sunday to come.
